All of kelai finished wood flooring are manufactured under strict production quality standards. Do our best. From the material to the Finished floor, each piece of board is processed through more than 40 processes. Each process is strictly checked by QC ,controlled by certain production data, and tested by independent laboratory. QC Checklist in Manufacturing Process

Grading of wood veneer
Abrasion test to check the resistance of the coating surface.
Random checks on sheen/gloss level to ensure a consistent coating surface.
Random scratch tests conducted to determine the resistance level of the coating surface
Dimensional and Processing Precision Measurement
Put a box of floors together,install them on a table or flat ground, and assemble them. touch the seams with your hands or slide a coin on the surface to see if there is a difference in height.Look at the tightness of the splicing gap.
From the end of the board surface to observe whether its paint film is plump and even, there is no wave-like indentation, etc. Paint should be painted evenly, with no bubbles, small white spots, and other phenomena, and no obvious stains and damage on the surface.
Moisture Content Testing
Kelaiwood ensures that all of the hardwood floorings that we sell, meet their stringent standards for moisture content.
Cut some samples of similar size and weigh,dry for 72 hours, and quickly measure the weight after constant mass.
Pin-type meters use penetrating electrodes Measure the wood’s moisture content by using electrical resistance.

Formaldehyde Emission
We produce the wood flooring as the strict safety and manufacturing standards. We take formaldehyde emissions very seriously and we want to assure you that our flooring is safe for you and your family. Our wood flooring meets CARB 2 requirement and the Formaldehyde emission is E0 stanard.The formaldehyde content is determined by collecting formaldehyde in air in a small distilled water container inside a closed dryer.

Water Absorption Thickness Expansion Rate
Cut alternative wood flooring samples of similar size, number them and put them into boiling water for 5-8 minutes. Take them out and compare how much they expand at the edges. It is best to use micrometer in advance to measure the thickness of the measuring point of the sample and make a mark. After soaking through boiled water, take out measure its ply again, can calculate after soaking of boiled water, relative floor bibulous ply expands rate.
Abrasion Resistance
