A healthy and happy Dragon Boat Festiva

Kelaiwood recently celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival with a fantastic team-building event. To honor this special occasion, our employees participated in the traditional Chinese activity of embroidering sachets, also known as “xiaoxianglang” or “hebao” in Chinese. Embroidered sachets are believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune, and are frequently exchanged during the Dragon Boat Festival.

Our event was an opportunity for us to showcase our creativity and teamwork skills, while also learning more about the history and traditions of this ancient festival. We were reminded of the importance of this festival which commemorates the life and legacy of the ancient Chinese poet Qu Yuan, and we were thrilled to participate in a traditional activity that has been enjoyed for centuries.
